FW14B Top studio Engine set

There are two versions of this engine, the late and the early with an updated more detailed drive shaft set. Below are the images Top studio have released on their FB page to illustrate what you get in the sets. Pretty amazing if you ask me. I’m really happy with what they have produced and cannot wait to get them both.

If you are wanting to know the differences the main ones are the injectors. One set being the side injectors which I’m doing for the Portuguese GP and the overhead injectors favoured more by Patrese. If you have the CD or downloads I sell then you will see exactly what I mean. The reference from the other manuals you can purchase on the market show you both engines too.

  1. There are two impressive motor sets. The matching drive shafts also look great. Can’t wait to get it. I’ve already ordered them both from SpotModel.

  2. Can’t wait to get mine, I’ll be doing the RS4. According to the Haynes manual the RS4 was fitted at Portugal, that would mean that car had overhead injectors right?

    • Not Mansells. As the engine and chassis I photographed was his from Portugal. It would most likely have been Patreses’ version that Andy Mathews built or a variation of it. Mansell didn’t like the overhead injectors and favoured the side versions
